On March 8, the Bulgarian Fund for Womend will celebrate its 15th anniversary. For us, these are 15 years of tireless work for the rights of women and girls in Bulgaria, for achieving full gender equality, for combating violence, for more women in leadership positions, for the prevention of breast cancer and unwanted pregnancies, for overcoming gender stereotypes and many other causes.
For 15 years, we have supported nearly 500 projects of various organizations in the country, investing over $ 1 million.
That’s why we think it’s worth it to raise at least 15 toast! You are welcome to the GRW PWR PARTY at Bar Petak, March 8th, from 8pm. The Booty Beatz lady DJs will take care of the music so we can dance all night long. Of course, because BFW celebrates, the party will be with cause. We will fundraising for the Program for Empowerment of Girls and Young Women, so look around for our donation boxes and get to know our team to ask us about anything that interests you about the Fund and our programs.
Before the party, we invite all of us to enroll in the history of the Women’s Movement in Bulgaria by joining the Women’s Rights March. It is organized for the fourth consecutive year with the support of the Bulgarian Fund for Women. This time, it is happening thanks to the volunteer work of an activist team and its motto is “Feminism is for everyone”.
