A total of 23 organisations from ten Bulgarian towns and two villages have presented project proposals within the first round of this year's call of the Bulgarian Fund for Women for funding of projects in the area of women's rights and gender equality.
The project proposals will be evaluated in the next phase of the programme until 25 October 2016. The best proposals that meet the eligibility criteria of the call will receive grants each worth 1,000 BGN for their realisation. The selected organisations will have 6 months (from 4 Novermber 2016 until the end of April 2017) to complete the projects.
The selected participants will have the possibility to apply for additional funding in the second round of the call. Details on the exact value of the grants and the participation criteria will be announced soon.
