The Bulgarian Fund for Women campaign “LoveErrors” was awarded the Effie Bronze Award in the Social Campaign category. It is implemented with the support of Avon Bulgaria and the creative partnership of the agency Direct Media I KRES.
The Effie Global Marketing Award is awarded to the most effective campaigns whose results and achievements can be demonstrated by concrete and measurable indicators.
“LoveErrors” managed to provoke serious discussion on the topic of domestic violence in social media and in the society”, said Nadejda Dermenjieva, Executive Director of the Bulgarian Fund for Women. “We thank our partners Avon and the Direct Media I KRES agency, whose creativity and focus on results have made the award possible. This further reinforces our confidence in the need to communicate and continue the public debate on domestic violence and to recognize violent and controlling behavior in one relationship”, Dermenjieva added.
“LoveErrors” campaign reached more than 2 million people and engaged more than 50,000 to comment and share her messages. From the start of the campaign in February to September 2019, the two domestic violence hotlines reported 14% increase of the calls and signals.
Effie is the world’s most prestigious Marketing Communications Efficiency Award, which have been awarded for 50 years. The competition has been organized in Bulgaria since 2007.
