WEBINAR 2:

The second online webinar took place on August 31, 2020. It was entitled “Communication in the event of domestic violence“.

Violence is often perceived as a family problem that should be addressed between household members. But is this achievable? What is the moment when the border is crossed? When is it better to be separated and stop communicating with each other and how to manage it? These were just some of the issues that were discussed in the second meeting of the series of webinars.

The guest speakers of the online event were Joana Terzieva – a consultant in psychotherapy, children’s rights and social services for families and children and the lawyer Dilyana Giteva, a specialist in human rights and protection against discrimination.

WEBINAR 3:

The third of a series of webinars took place on September 11, 2020. Its topic was “How difficult is it to leave a toxic relationship?” In this online event, we talked about how to recognize violence in a relationship, what are the types of domestic violence and whether the relationship can be toxic, even though there is no physical abuse in it. We also followed how the circle of violence is formed, what it is, how it can be broken and most of all – how difficult it is to leave such a relationship but how it is achievable.

The answers to all these questions, as well as to the questions from the participants in the webinar were given by the experts Valentina Dimitrova – psychotherapist and family counselor, co-founder of the Center for Family Happiness “Nuances” and the lawyer Emil Stankov.
