28 nongovernmental organizations with a total of 29 projects from 15 Bulgarian cities submitted their proposals in the first round of the competition for projects aiming to support women’s rights and to achieve gender equality, announced by the Bulgarian Fund for Women.
Out of these, 10 drafts will be selected that will receive a funding of 1,000 BGN each. They will participate in yet another selection: at the second round of the competition at the end of November 2015 four of the most successfully implemented projects will receive additional funding of 2,000 BGN each.
The approved projects will be announced on June 8, 2015, and their implementation is expected to begin after June 15, 2015.
