Zhana Bergendorff sang Aerosmith songs at the charity concert against domestic violence, organized by Bulgarian fund of women. The X-Factor winner performed with the metal band Crashbrake on 24th of April in club *MIXTAPE 5*. At the concert also performed Der Hunds and the hip-hop stars Rudi, Duli, Muden & Kukusheff. Pole dancing acrobatics were shown by girls from Sonya Pole Studio, who had prepared a special show for the ladies in the audience – pole dance lessons of the choreography of the dance Liv Taylor did in the video of the song ‘Crazy’ by Aerosmith. ’Bulgaria’s got Talent’ pole dancing star Venelina Gospodinova was also a guest at the charity concert.
The concert earned 777 BGN, which are meant to be spent on first aid kits for the victims of domestic violence in crisis centers, part of the ‘Alliance for protection from gender-based violence’.
With the charity concert BFW focused young people’s attention to the seriousness of the problem with domestic violence. Researches show that every fourth Bulgarian woman suffers from violence at home. This means that everyone knows a victim of violence- a mother, a sister, a daughter, a friend or a colleague. There is no data for male victims. However, the number of cases of violence towards kids and elderly people in the form of sexual abuse is growing.
